House Investments provides real estate investments to institutional and qualified individual investors. On behalf of its investors, the company has been engaged in the acquisition, management and provision of equity and mezzanine financing for a variety of real estate transactions.
For developers, House Investments provides equity capital to meet their project funding requirements on flexible terms in a timely fashion.
House Investments has completed real estate transactions involving land, single family housing, condominiums, office complexes, shopping centers, nursing homes, assisted living facilities and multifamily housing. The majority of our properties are located in the
Midwest, Southeast and West.
House Investments has experience in virtually every aspect of real estate development. In addition to its primary role as a sponsor of real estate investments, the company has acted as a developer, assumed the role of property manager, served as an intermediary to work out troubled transactions and has developed a strong asset monitoring structure to keep management abreast of the current performance
of its investments. This depth of experience allows House Investments to assume a very active role in the ongoing performance of the properties found in its partnerships.
House Investments relies on the experience and expertise of its management team and staff to formulate underwriting guidelines for
its real estate transactions. The underwriting guidelines provide the foundation for investment performance that meets or exceeds expectations. These underwriting criteria are used to screen each loan or acquisition and to help staff members negotiate appropriate protections and guarantees from borrowers or developers. House Investments’ underwriting guidelines
are incorporated into computer models that allow the analysts to quickly evaluate and identify shortcomings of certain transactions which may then be strengthened through changes in deal structure and/or terms or rejected completely. House Investments will also utilize market studies, site investigations and information from outside sources in evaluating the potential risks of a property.
